What is the JanaVaidya Reels Challenge?
JanaVaidya is inviting creators, students, doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals and the general public to spread awareness about verified doctor home visits in Bangalore, through creative Instagram reels.
Most families still do not know that a properly qualified doctor can come to their home, or that they can see that doctor's degree, specialisation and council registration before they book. That is the idea worth spreading, and this competition exists to spread it in the format people actually watch.
The objective is simple: educate people, and reward the creativity that does it best.

JanaVaidya is a transparent home-visit doctor network. Every doctor's qualification, specialisation and council registration is shown to the patient before they book, and the patient chooses. Currently serving Bangalore.
Eligibility
Who can participate
Anyone in India aged 18 or over, with a public Instagram account. You do not need a large following, a camera, or any connection to healthcare.
Students
College and school students, 18 and over. No filming experience needed.
Doctors
Practising doctors across every system of medicine.
Nurses
Nursing staff and nursing students who know home care first-hand.
Healthcare professionals
Physiotherapists, pharmacists, technicians, caregivers, hospital staff.
Content creators
Anyone who already makes reels, at any follower count.
General public
Anyone in India aged 18 or over with a public Instagram account.
Employees of Amrutha Carings Private Limited and their immediate families are not eligible.
Languages allowed
Your reel may be in any one of these three languages, or a natural mix of them.

Only these three languages are accepted. Entries in any other language cannot be judged.
Non-negotiable
What every reel must mention
Three things. If any one of them is missing, the entry may be disqualified — so check your reel against this list before you post.
Doctor home visits
The reel must make clear that JanaVaidya sends a doctor to the patient's home.
Verified doctors
The reel must say the doctors are verified — their degree, specialisation and council registration are shown to the patient before booking.
Bangalore
The reel must name Bangalore (or Bengaluru) as the city JanaVaidya currently serves.
What your reel must not do
These are healthcare rules, not style preferences. An entry that breaks any of them is disqualified, however good it is.
- Do not claim that a JanaVaidya doctor can cure, guarantee or reverse any condition.
- Do not act as a patient giving a testimonial about a visit you did not actually have.
- Do not present yourself as a JanaVaidya doctor, employee or representative unless you are one.
- Do not give specific medical advice, dosages or diagnoses in the reel.
- Do not name, compare against or criticise any other clinic, hospital, brand or app.
- Do not suggest JanaVaidya replaces emergency care. It does not.
- Do not film any real patient, prescription or medical record without their written consent.
Five steps
How to participate
- 01
Create an original reel
Film something new about JanaVaidya. Any style — a skit, an explainer, a family story, a myth-versus-fact. It must be your own work, in English, Kannada or Hindi, and it must cover all three mandatory points above.
- 02
Post it publicly on Instagram
Upload the reel from a public Instagram account. Private accounts cannot be judged, because we cannot see the engagement.
- 03
Invite @jana_vaidya as a collaborator
On the Instagram posting screen, tap "Tag people", then "Invite collaborator", and add our handle. This is the step that submits your entry — a reel that only tags or mentions us is not an entry.
- 04
Wait for us to accept
We review the reel against the rules and accept the collaboration. Once accepted, your reel appears on our profile too, and its engagement becomes visible to us.
- 05
You are officially entered
From that moment your reel is an official contest entry, and it starts accumulating your engagement score.
The collaboration is the entry
This is the single most common mistake. Tagging us, mentioning us in the caption, or using a hashtag does not enter you. You must invite @jana_vaidya as a collaborator on the reel, and we must accept it.

Every reel earns points from real Instagram engagement. Different actions are worth different amounts, because sharing a reel spreads the message further than liking it.

Shares, saves and reposts are not publicly visible on Instagram. We can see them only because your reel is a collaborative post on our profile, which gives us its Insights. This is exactly why the collaboration must stay active until the winners are announced. When we announce the results we publish the full scoreboard across our social media channels, so every entrant can check how the winner was reached.
Only the engagement recorded at 13 August 2026, 11:59 PM IST is counted. Anything gained after that moment does not change the result.
The fine print, in plain English
Competition rules
Public account required
Your Instagram account must be public for the whole contest period. If it goes private, your entry cannot be scored.
Original content only
You must have created the reel. No re-uploading someone else's video, and no copyrighted music, footage or scripts you do not have the right to use.
Unlimited entries
Post as many reels as you like. Every valid collaborative reel counts as an entry.
One reel counts per person
Only your single highest-scoring reel is considered. Scores from multiple reels are not added together.
No fake engagement
Purchased likes, followers, comments, views or shares, engagement pods, and bot activity all lead to disqualification.
We verify every entry
JanaVaidya may review any entry's engagement pattern and account history before declaring a winner.
Our decision is final
In any dispute over eligibility, scoring or authenticity, the decision of JanaVaidya is final and binding.
Do not delete or re-post
A deleted reel loses its engagement history and cannot be scored. Only the valid collaborative reel live at the deadline is counted.

Awarded to the three highest-scoring valid entries, in rank order. Paid by bank transfer or UPI within seven working days of identity confirmation, subject to any taxes or deductions required by law.

Frequently asked
Can I upload multiple reels?
Yes. There is no limit on entries. Only your highest-scoring reel is considered — scores from different reels are not combined.
Can I participate from outside Bangalore?
Yes. Anyone in India aged 18 or over can enter. The reel itself must promote JanaVaidya's verified doctor home visits in Bangalore, because that is the city we currently serve.
Can I use AI tools?
Yes, as long as the finished reel is your own original work and follows every rule on this page. You may not pass off an existing video as your own, and you may not create a synthetic person who appears to be a real doctor or a real patient.
Can I delete a reel and post it again?
No. Deleting a reel destroys its engagement history, and the new upload starts from zero. Only a valid collaborative reel that is live at the deadline can be scored.
Can a private account participate?
No. Only public Instagram accounts are eligible. If your account is private we cannot see or verify the engagement on your reel.
How do I know my score is counted correctly?
Likes and comments are visible to everyone. Shares, saves and reposts are only visible through Instagram Insights, which we can see because your reel is a collaborative post on our profile. We publish the full scoreboard across our social media channels when the winners are announced, so every entrant can see how the result was reached.
What happens if I remove the collaboration?
The reel stops appearing on our profile and we lose access to its Insights. It can no longer be scored, so keep the collaboration active until the winners are announced.
How many prizes are there?
Three. First prize is ₹10,000, Second prize is ₹5,000, Third prize is ₹2,500. They go to the three highest-scoring valid entries in rank order, so a single reel can win only one of them.
When and how is the prize paid?
We contact each winner through Instagram direct message within 48 hours of the announcement. Payment is made by bank transfer or UPI once identity and age are confirmed. Prizes are subject to any taxes or deductions required by law.

Use of your reel. By inviting JanaVaidya as a collaborator you grant Amrutha Carings Private Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display, repost and share your reel across JanaVaidya's own social channels, website and marketing material, with credit to your Instagram handle. You keep ownership of your reel. You may withdraw this permission by writing to hello@janavaidya.com, which also withdraws the entry.
Your responsibility. You confirm that the reel is your own original work, that you have permission from everyone appearing in it, and that you hold the rights to any music, footage or images used. You are responsible for any claim arising from your reel.
Eligibility. Open to residents of India aged 18 or over. Employees, contractors and doctors formally engaged by Amrutha Carings Private Limited, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.
The prizes. Three prizes are awarded to the three highest-scoring valid entries in rank order: First prize ₹10,000, Second prize ₹5,000, Third prize ₹2,500 — ₹17,500 in total, paid in Indian rupees by bank transfer or UPI. A participant may win only one prize. There is no cash alternative, substitution or transfer. Prizes are subject to any taxes or statutory deductions applicable in India. Each winner must provide proof of identity and age before payment.
Changes and cancellation. JanaVaidya may amend these rules, extend the deadline, or cancel the competition if circumstances require it. Any change will be published on this page.
